Consent matters. Only text people who have agreed to receive messages from you. You are responsible for making sure you have that consent before sending.
Troubleshooting
The most common setup issues and how to get past them.
Texts stay queued
Check that the phone is online, the gateway is running, and Start on boot is enabled. If the phone is offline, messages wait until it reconnects.
Replies not showing
Confirm the webhook is registered and Save was tapped. If replies still don't appear, re-register the webhook and send another test text.
Status not updating
Make sure the phone is charged, online, and the gateway app is running. Delivery status depends on the phone being reachable to report back.
